A curry is basically a mixture of ground spices that varies according to region and by personal taste. It may seem obvious but a good Trini curry quite simply to uses a Trinidad blend of curry powder.

CHIEF Curry MUST BE COOKED before consumption. For any pound of meat or shrimp or vegetable, mix 1 tablespoon of CHIEF Curry Powder with 1/2 cup of water. Fry the curry mixture in a pot for 2 minutes, then add meat or shrimp or vegetable and leave to simmer. As you begin to use, you can add or lessen according to your liking.
